Match Days at Emley 2 of 10

2. Accessibility guide

Emley AFC is dedicated to ensuring that all fans, including those with disabilities, have a comfortable and enjoyable matchday experience. The club has made significant strides in creating an accessible environment, so whether you're a wheelchair user or have other mobility challenges, you'll find that Emley AFC caters to your needs.

Upon arrival, you'll find seven disabled parking bays conveniently located near the club's entrance. Simply ask one of the friendly car park attendants, and they will guide you to a suitable parking spot. This proximity to the entrance makes it easy to enter the stadium without hassle. Please just ask our turnstile operators to open the main gates should this be required.

Once inside, all of the club's facilities are easily accessible. If you’re feeling hungry, head over to the Dugout Diner, which has a low counter where you can order a variety of matchday favourites such as pies, chips, burgers, and hot drinks. For those looking to quench their thirst, the outdoor bar is very accessible - the Pewit Bar offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. If you prefer to sit down and relax with your drink, the club bar also welcomes you and is fully accessible with enough space for wheelchairs.

When it comes to watching the match, there’s a designated area specifically for disabled fans in the main stand. Although this area is not under cover, there are covered seats available if you are able to transfer from your wheelchair. The club's volunteers are always on hand to assist and ensure that you have the best possible experience. Although the walled area around the pitch can be difficult to see over, the fenced area beyond the away dugout provides a better vantage point.

Emley AFC also provides a unisex accessible toilet, spacious enough to accommodate a mobility scooter or wheelchair, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout your visit. This is at the back of the main stand adjacent to the female toilets.

The club's dedicated staff, easily identifiable by their claret T-shirts, are always ready to assist and ensure that your matchday experience is as enjoyable as possible.

At Emley AFC, every fan is valued, and the club continues to work towards creating an inclusive environment for all. Please let us know if there are any additional measures we could take to make sure fans with additional needs can enjoy the full match day experience to the full.
