Following Emley’s comeback win at Thackley on Saturday to maintain 2nd place in the NCEL Premier Division, the attention turns back to knockout football and a 2nd round tie at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground.

The sides haven’t previously met, with North Gawber plying their trade in step 7 in the Sheffield and Hallamshire league premier division, they were champions in 2018/19, the last season before the Covid pandemic took hold.

They also won the League cup and were awarded the Senior cup in 2019 and will provide a stern test for the Pewits and are currently 6th in the league and have won 4 of their last 6 games.
