Emley look to repel the Vikings

After Saturday’s games were cancelled due to the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II, Emley are back in action on Tuesday when Goole visit the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground (7.45pm).

It’s the second successive Tuesday evening home game for Emley after last week’s 2-0 win over Hallam moved them up to 5th in the NCEL Premier Division table.

Goole, meanwhile, sit 18th with only 1 win from their 4 league games so far, an opening day 1-0 win at Yorkshire Amateur, they did make progress in the FA Cup though, a comprehensive 4-1 win over Consett, Followed by a 3-2 win at Carlisle City before their run was ended by Prescot Cables, they were beaten 3-0 at Handsworth in the FA Vase.

Emley have won their last 2 league games against Hallam and Albion Sports and are unbeaten in our last 5 in all competitions.

The sides met twice last season, with Emley winning both games, the only games between the sides previously.
