Following Sunday's FA Cup exit at the hands of Avro, Emley are back in league action, looking to extend their unbeaten start to the NCEL season when they make the trip to Bradford to face Eccleshill Utd on Wednesday (7.45pm).

The 2-0 cup defeat was Emley's first of the new season following 2 draws in the league against Maltby and Garforth, Eccleshill meanwhile have lost their last 2 games after winning their opening league game at Bottesford Town and are also out of the FA cup after a 2-0 defeat at Prescot Cables.

Both teams will be looking to pick up points even at this early stage of the season, The Eagles inflicted The Pewits' first defeat in the NCEL Premier Division when they ran out 5-1 winners in August 2021 on their way to a 2nd placed finish, they also beat Emley 2-1 to complete a league double in 21/22.

Emley repeated the league double last season on the way to their 3rd place finish, a 3-1 win at Eccleshill in January was followed up by a 2-1 win at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground in February.
