It's another away trip to Nottinghamshire for Northern Premier League Division One East play off contenders Emley on Tuesday as we face Carlton Town (7.45pm).
Emley's last trip to Robin Hood country ended with a comfortable 2-0 victory on Sherwood's plastic pitch in February.
This will be Emley's first ever visit to the Bill Stokeld stadium and only the second ever meeting between the sides, Emley hammering Carlton 4-0 in the only previous meeting back in October.
Back then, Emley had just opened up a 5 point gap at the top of the table, but Emley have since seen a strong run from Cleethorpes overtake us and we are now sat second, occupying the first play off spot.
A bad run of form which saw us pick up only 8 points from a possible 21 and included 2 consecutive away defeats at North Ferriby and Dunston and fail to hit the target only twice was ended on Saturday with a 2-1 win over Sheffield to put Emley firmly back in the mix as we look to secure a play off place.
Carlton, meanwhile are just outside the play offs only 4 points off a place themselves and in a great run of form, unbeaten in their last 12 games, they have won their last 5 and their last defeat was a Notts derby defeat at Sherwood Colliery on boxing day, in all, they have only lost once in 14 games.
Carlton Town was formed in 1904 as Sneinton FC and were seen as Nottingham's top non league club for many years, playing in various local amateur leagues until they made the step up to the Central Midlands League in 1995-96, in 2002 they changed their name to Carlton Town and immediately won promotion to the Northern Counties East League as CML champions.
Two successive promotions then saw the club ascend to the NPL (D1 South), missing out on promotion to the Premier Division in 2008-09 and 2011-12 in the play offs, in terms of FA competitions, Carlton reached the FA Cup 3rd qualifying round in successive seasons, 2012-13 and 2013-14 losing to Bradford PA and Vauxhall Motors respectively.
This will be the second attempt to play the match as the original game in February was postponed due to weather conditions.

Stoke Lane, Gedling, Nottingham, NG4 2QS
HOW DO WE GET THERE?
From the M1 (North and South). Leave at junction 26 and follow signs Nottingham A610 for just over two miles to the ring road A6514. Turn left following signs Mansfield (A60) through a number of sets of lights and over two roundabouts. The ring road reaches the A60 shortly after the second roundabout. Get into the second lane and turn left onto A60 (signposted Mansfield, Doncaster) and branch immediately right into the filter lane, turning right at the lights by the Vale pub into Thackarey’s Lane.
Go straight on over the next roundabout onto Arno Vale Road and straight on at the next two sets of lights (up and then down the hill) onto Gedling Road and then Arnold Road. The latter leads into Gedling after a mile or so – follow through Gedling going straight on at the mini-island and following the road around to the right shortly afterwards.
At the next lights turn right (signposted Burton Joyce) and follow the link road to the left before turning left at the next lights onto the A612 (signposted Burton Joyce).
At the next set of lights turn left onto Stoke Lane (signposted CTFC) and the ground is on the right hand side.
Alternatively: Leave at the M1 at junction 31 and follow Worksop (A57), continue past Worksop until the junction with the A614 (this junction is also accessed from the A1) and follow the A614 (signposted Nottingham) to the junction with the A6097 (signposted Leicester). Follow the A6097/(A46) to the roundabout with the A612 and turn right onto the A612 (signposted Burton Joyce, Nottingham).
Follow the A612 through Burton Joyce towards Nottingham and shortly after leaving the village the road branches to the left (Nott'm, Gedling, Netherfield). Stay on the A612 and at the next lights turn right onto Stoke Lane and the ground is on the right hand side.
**PLEASE BE WARNED **
Please note there is a “Bus-Plug” on Stoke Lane between Emerys Road and the ground. As such, the only vehicular access route to Stoke Lane for the ground is from the A612. There is no vehicular access from the Burton Road end of Stoke Lane or from Emerys Road. If you drive through the bus plug you can expect a £70 fine.
Public Transport: Carlton station is around 1 mile away, East Midlands railway, change at Nottingham, Derby or Newark Castle.
PARKING: There is parking at the ground, on a first come, first served basis.
