After securing a Sheffield and Hallamshire cup final place on Wednesday, Emley’s attention now turns back to league action as Bottesford Town visit the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground on Saturday (3pm).

Emley have dropped to 5th in the league table in recent weeks having drawn a number of games, but they still have games in hand on the pack around them.

Last week’s win at Garforth was only Emley’s 2nd league win in the last 6 games, but they’ll want to improve on their home league form, no win since October’s 2-1 win over Yorkshire Amateur.

A win would put Emley right back in the top 2 mix and a potential promotion fight towards the end of the season, but Bottesford will want the points for a different reason, they are currently 2nd from bottom and 5 points adrift of safety so will be desperate for the 3 points themselves.

The Poachers had a morale boosting 4-2 win at Silsden last week, their first win in 10 so Emley will need to be on their game to pick up maximum points and make it 4 games undefeated.
