Emley are back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Farsley to face Albion Sports in the NCEL Premier Division (7.45pm)
Both teams have just come off the back of playing Avro in FA competitions, Albion in the FA Cup where they lost on penalties after a 0-0 draw and Emley in the FA Vase last Friday, Emley coming out on top after a dramatic penalty shoot out themselves.
Emley led that game 2-0 before Avro found a late equaliser to take it to penalties, it showed great determination and will from the Pewits who now travel to Vauxhall Motors on the Wirral.
But matters now turn back to league points, something both teams could do with.
Emley currently sit 12th in the table with 4 points from a win against Handsworth and a draw with Huddersfield rivals Golcar.
Albion have just the 2 points, courtesy of draws with Barton Town and Thackley away, in fact the lions have drawn every game this season including cup games after 90 minutes.
It will be the 3rd competitive meeting of the sides with Emley winning the previous 2 last season.
