It's Friday night under the lights as Emley and their fans make the short journey across Huddersfield to face Golcar United in the semi final of the NCEL league cup (7.45pm).

It will be the 3rd time the rivals have met this season, both league games were drawn, 1-1 at Emley in August and then a cracking 3-3 at Golcar just last month.

A win would give Emley their second cup final appearance of the season, the Sheffield and Hallamshire senior cup final at Doncaster on 20th May awaits, this will be The Weavers' first semi final as a semi-professional club.

Emley still have a game left of the league season, but with little riding on the result, The Pewits are guaranteed to finish 3rd, but will want to put another 3 points on the board to round off a good season.

Two cup finals to go along with that 3rd place finish is a fantastic effort and Emley will be hoping their fans turn out in good numbers yet again to cheer them on to another final but Golcar will also have a strong support too, it's all to play for under the lights on Friday night.
The winners will face Handsworth or Winterton Rangers in the final at Doncaster Rovers in Early May.

If the teams are level after 90 minutes, there will be extra time and penalties to follow.
