Emley will host Guisborough Town at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground on Saturday 21st October in the first round proper of the FA Vase.

Guisborough currently lie 8th in the Northern League's Division One - so the same Step 5 level as The Pewits.

Whilst Emley were beating Brigg Town 3-1 to reach this stage, Guisborough went better to thrash Redcar Town 5-1.

Like Emley, our opponents have also reached the FA Vase final when they were beaten in the 1980 final.

The two clubs shared three seasons in the early days of the NCEL. In 6 league meetings, Emley were victorious 5 times with a single victory for The Priorymen.

However, in cup football, the visitors have the upper hand courtesy of a 3-2 success in the 1987/88 FA Cup.
