After gaining experience in the role with Barnsley and Bolton Wanderers, Wilkinson served as lead analyst with AFC Fylde last season whilst he completed a degree in Sports Coaching.

On his arrival at Emley, Wilkinson said: “AFC Emley is a club on the up, I’m honoured to join the journey.”

Manager Hepworth said: “When Marcus got in touch with us, we were all really impressed by his experience and approach. It’s yet another improvement this summer to push us on and try to go one step further next season.”

Marcus will work alongside AFC Emley’s Head of Player Development Pat Piearcey to provide analysis and insight at first team matches.
