Emley’s club partner scheme continues to grow and offers local grassroots clubs a tailored relationship to benefit both clubs. The tie-ups are aimed at providing support for and amongst the partner clubs in whatever areas are required to meet their objectives.

What is a club partnership with Emley AFC?
This depends on the club involved and what they want or need. Here’s a list of what is ‘available' but this isn’t exhaustive, if there is further scope for co-operation, let us know and we’ll consider it! But what’s important to say is there is no charge involved.
Linked to a semi-pro club - your club would be linked to club with a good and growing reputation in the area and across non-league football. We think this is a good selling point for your club as you benefit from the association.
Exposure - club partnerships are featured on our website and social channels plus a board at our ground (which we ask you to reciprocate at your club). We can also share some of your updates through the season (perhaps a special event, big game or shout out for players)
Free season tickets - we give your club 10 season passes for use by club officials, volunteers and coaches etc.
Mascot days - for junior clubs, we can host your team(s) as mascots at our home games. We would aim for 2 per season. As well as your players having a great match day experience, we would also provide four free tickets per registered player enabling them to bring the family and for you to make a real ‘club day out’.
Player pathways - for your FA accreditation you can demonstrate a link to our club. For junior teams you will receive advance notice for your U16 age group to attend trials for our U18/Academy side. For non-junior sides, depending on the player involved and their age, there would be the opportunity to recommend players to attend trials or club training or sign our academy players to give them open age Saturday football experience.
Host a match - subject to availability there are opportunities to play a fixture at Emley. A good example of this is the recent HD8 derby between partner clubs Skelmanthorpe and Shepley. This attracted a crowd of around 240 and was a great experience for everyone involved. It also meant Emley benefitted from sales of food and drink. There was no cost to the clubs involved, in fact, we were able to pay for the match officials.
Support and advice - we can give your club free advice on all aspects of running a football club based on the experience of our directors and volunteers - pitch maintenance, marketing, social media etc. And if we can’t help, we know someone who can. (Initial advice will always be free but if this develops into additional ‘work’ this will become chargeable to the club or individual concerned - but no-one will ever charge you without agreeing before work commences)
